Boris Weisfeiler

Boris was a lovely sweet Institute for Advanced Study colleague who I used to discuss Lie algebras with. He disappeared on January 4 1985 while hiking in Chile, presumably tortured and killed by Nazis at Colonia Dignidad, for looking Jewish and having a Jewish name (guilty on both counts).
